A Little Piece of Heaven

As the snowbirds began to crowd the streets of our beautiful, sunny Scottsdale, Arizona hometown, we decided to search for a getaway...a winter wonderland of sorts. Aching to see the white stuff again, we hit the internet, seeking the perfect place to be.

We wanted to ski by day, drink, dine, and discover by night, and during those last few remaining hours, privately enjoy 'just the two of us' in an exclusive, romantic, cozy, and maybe just a little 'too perfect' place to stay.

Were we asking too much? We thought so...in the beginning. But finding RentalParkCity washed any initial misgivings from our thoughts, and reminded us of how people, in this case an individual person, can truly bring wonder into our lives.

5-star ***** wasn't part of the picture in our minds. We wanted privacy, comfort, and quality... a place that felt like it could be our home. A place that we would remember. A place that would call to us, to return to it, again and again.

Touting Utah as having the "Greatest Snow On Earth!", www.utah.com sold us on our chosen destination. We had both skied in Vermont (TOO MUCH ICE), Colorado of course, and our own home state of Arizona (not to be laughed at, but we wanted some really nice powder ;)

We, together, formed a lingering eye for Park City. The pics at www.canyoncreekclubhomes left our mouths watering for Main Street, which was eloquently mentioned at www.wikipedia.com:

"Park City might be a fairly nondescript-appearing town were it not for its colorful and evocative Main Street, where 64 Victorian buildings are listed in the National Register of Historic Places."

We both started experiencing that 'tingly' feeling one gets when things start to feel 'right'. We had found indescribable mountains, a 'Main Street, USA' where we would spend countless nights, and endless websites that described Park City as the place that we had been looking for, all along.

RentalParkCity finalized the deal. We found them, him rather, at www.vrbo.com, a wonderful website, abundant with quality, romantic, cozy rentals....our perfect picture of 5-star *****.

Mitch, at RentalParkCity, was not only a pleasure to deal with, but we both agreed that he was another unique piece of the 'perfect' puzzle that made this trip so wonderful and memorable. He was kind, informative, and so accommodating. As a Park City resident, Mitch was able to point out the interesting and most intriguing 'hotspots' that we just couldn't miss during our stay.

The condo was everything, if not more, than we had expected. The owner's unique likes are evident throughout, and we both shared his exquisite tastes and ability to bring warmth to a place where many people would make brief visits...and inevitably want to return.

Please tell Mitch you found him at Traveluptuous.com!
